As a Generator Technician, you will install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot Kohler Home Standby generators. Key responsibilities will be ensuring that generators operate efficiently, reliably, and safely and performing all routine maintenance on generator units.
- Assist with installation and startup of new generators
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, oil changes, and inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair generators, controls, and automatic transfer switches
- Perform factory warranty work and necessary paperwork/documentation
- Ability to work well with others, including clients, suppliers, and other technicians in a professional manner
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided
